  2. We sort every new permit

Each permit the City issues is read, tagged by type of work and matched to your filters.

  3. Your list arrives every morning

Questions

Where does the data come from?

From building permits the City of Toronto publishes as open data. We collect, clean and sort them so you don’t have to dig through hundreds of thousands of records.

Do I get the homeowner’s name or phone number?

No. Permits list the property address and the work being done. Most contractors reach homeowners with a postcard or a door hanger. An option to have postcards mailed for you automatically is coming after launch.

How fresh are the leads?

New permits go out every morning, as soon as the City publishes them, so you hear about a project around the time it’s approved. If you’d rather get one email, choose the weekly Monday roundup instead.

Will you cover cities outside Toronto?

Yes, starting with other GTA cities that publish permit data. Choose “Outside Toronto” when you join so we know where to go next.
